Youth Ministry

St. John Paul the Great LifeTeen/EDGE program is a movement of the Holy Spirit, joyfully obedient to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church and consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, that believes Eucharist-centered activities can transform teens, their families and their culture.

LifeTeen/EDGE is designed to inspire Teens/Tweens to build a profound, lasting relationship with Christ. Our teens are encouraged and challenged to acquire a deeper knowledge of their Catholic faith, develop a personal and consistent prayer life, and become active members of their parish and community. This is all made possible by a dedicated CORE team of adults.

Our Middle School EDGE meets weekly on Sunday evenings beginning with our LifeTeen Mass at 5:00pm with EDGE immediately following the Mass from 6:007:30pm at our Religious Education Center.

Our LifeTeen PURPOSE High School Confirmation Program meets at the same time bi-weekly. Along with monthly opportunities to fulfill “Faith Commitments” by living out the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.

We have a Middle School “Just for FUN” gathering on the 1st Friday of each month from 6:00-9:00pm at our Religious Education Center.

Our High School program tends to be a bit more flexible based on the needs/seasonal schedules of our older teens.

As teens lives become more and more busy… we suggest that even if they cannot make weekly or even monthly gatherings… that they stay connected to their faith, along with other teens from their parish family, by setting aside time to join us for one or more of the trips that we attend annually…
