Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

On that first Easter morning, Mary Magdalene went to the tomb expecting death. Instead, she found it empty—confusing, unsettling, and yet full of possibility. “They did not yet understand the Scripture that he had to rise from the dead” (John 20:9). Hope did not arrive as clarity—it arrived as a question.

Many of us know that feeling. We come to Easter carrying burdens—grief, unanswered prayers, broken relationships, and uncertainty about the future. Like Mary, we stand before what feels like a sealed tomb, expecting more of the same… while God is already at work in ways we cannot yet see.

Easter reveals a profound truth: What looks like an ending may be the very place where God begins something new.

Peter proclaims that Jesus “went about doing good… and God raised him on the third day” (Acts 10:38, 40). The story of Jesus did not end in suffering—it was transformed by the power of God. And through that same power, our stories are not finished.

St. Paul reminds us: “If you were raised with Christ, seek what is above… for your life is hidden with Christ in God”(Colossians 3:1–3). Your life—no matter how heavy it feels—is already held within something greater, something redeemed.

Psychologically, we know that pain can narrow our vision, convincing us that what we see now is all there is. Viktor Frankl once wrote, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” Easter speaks into that space—not by denying suffering, but by proclaiming that it is not the final word.

God is still writing your story.
Even in what feels buried.
Even in what you have given up on.
Even in the silence where God seems absent.

The stone has been rolled away—not only from Christ’s tomb, but from every place where hope seemed sealed.

This Easter, take one step of faith: Trust that God is not finished with you.
Believe that what feels like an ending may become a beginning in His hands.

Because the Resurrection is not only something we celebrate—
it is something we are invited to live.

May the Risen Christ meet you in your questions, strengthen you in your struggles, and fill your heart with hope that no darkness can overcome.

Del Sepulcro a la Esperanza: Dios Sigue Escribiendo Tu Historia

Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Cristo:

En aquella primera mañana de Pascua, María Magdalena fue al sepulcro esperando la muerte. En cambio, lo encontró vacío—confuso, inquietante y, sin embargo, lleno de posibilidad. “Pues todavía no habían entendido la Escritura: que él había de resucitar de entre los muertos” (Juan 20,9). La esperanza no llegó como claridad—llegó como una pregunta.

Muchos de nosotros conocemos ese sentimiento. Llegamos a la Pascua cargando pesos—dolor, oraciones sin respuesta, relaciones rotas e incertidumbre sobre el futuro. Como María, nos encontramos ante lo que parece un sepulcro sellado, esperando más de lo mismo… mientras Dios ya está obrando de maneras que aún no podemos ver. La Pascua revela una verdad profunda: Lo que parece un final puede ser el mismo lugar donde Dios comienza algo nuevo. Pedro proclama que Jesús “pasó haciendo el bien… y Dios lo resucitó al tercer día” (Hechos 10,38.40). La historia de Jesús no terminó en el sufrimiento—fue transformada por el poder de Dios. Y por ese mismo poder, nuestras historias no han terminado.

San Pablo nos recuerda: “Si han resucitado con Cristo, busquen las cosas de arriba… porque su vida está escondida con Cristo en Dios” (Colosenses 3,1–3). Tu vida—sin importar cuán pesada se sienta—ya está sostenida dentro de algo más grande, algo redimido.

Desde el punto de vista psicológico, sabemos que el dolor puede estrechar nuestra visión, convenciéndonos de que lo que vemos ahora es todo lo que existe. Víctor Frankl escribió una vez: “Cuando ya no somos capaces de cambiar una situación, se nos desafía a cambiarnos a nosotros mismos”. La Pascua habla a ese espacio—no negando el sufrimiento, sino proclamando que no tiene la última palabra.

Dios sigue escribiendo tu historia.

Incluso en lo que parece enterrado.
Incluso en aquello a lo que has renunciado.
Incluso en el silencio donde Dios parece ausente.

La piedra ha sido removida—no solo del sepulcro de Cristo, sino de todo lugar donde la esperanza parecía sellada.

En esta Pascua, da un paso de fe: Confía en que Dios no ha terminado contigo.

Cree que lo que parece un final puede convertirse en un comienzo en sus manos. Porque la Resurrección no es solo algo que celebramos—es algo que estamos invitados a vivir.

Que Cristo Resucitado te encuentre en tus preguntas, te fortalezca en tus luchas y llene tu corazón de una esperanza que ninguna oscuridad pueda vencer.
